As of June 2011, the Company has totally issued 14,055,383,440 shares, with 10,500,000,000 internal shares constituting 74.7% of the total and 3,555,383,440 foreign shares constituting 25.3%. China Huaneng Group (CHGC) holds 520,000,000 foreign shares, taking 3.7% equity right, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Hongkong Co. Ltd. As to domestic shares, Huaneng International Power Development Corporation (HIPDC) holds 5,066,662,118 shares 36.05% equity right and China Huaneng Group holds 1,055,124,549 shares 11.16% equity right, and other domestic holders have 4,378,213,333 shares taking 31.15% equity right.
